This week hubby and myself have been to the coast as we are both on holiday from work, there are some really lovely beach huts all along the edge of the sand. Most of them look very well looked after but there are one or two that have seen better days, I think these are for buying or hiring.
Some friends of mine had one of these when I was a child and I can remember getting changed into swimming costumes and having something to eat in the beach hut, they are really cosy. It's great to sit on the steps and watch the world go by.
Hubby and me sat on the steps of one and pretended that we owned it. It was very quiet on the beach, the dog just loved it.

you are right..it does look peaceful. I love the beach,but unfortunately don't go much even though I only live a few miles away. Our beaches here are VERY crowded and congested. I do catch the occasional sunset and realize how lucky I am to live so close to the ocean. Glad you had a good trip.

I enjoy walking on the beach, not lying around. I love how each beach has a different personality.
The ones in LA are huge. You don't need to look for space. Some of the ones in the NYC area are crowded and terrible.
