I forget the name of these cute little creatures but when we looked into their enclosure we couldn't see any of them and upon closer inspection found them all sleeping inside this log, they were crammed in like sardines, one way to keep warm and snuggly I suppose. Dont they look funny?!

Yes you could easily miss them couldn't you Dana, I think they may have been some kind of mongoose or perhaps I dreamt it :) They had otters at the zoo also but these were very much smaller than them and squeaking quite loudly all the while.

oh my! how cute!! I love it.
They are ferrets, I believe. People have them as pets and these fellas are very nocturnal and curious.
They look very snug!
