Manga Girl

This is just one pic that my son has done using black paint, he's really into Japanese Manga/Anime, he has studied fine art and design and I think he is extremely talented at this sort of art work. He also has Able Autism which I think makes him a lot more focused on art in particular.

Tight Fit.

I forget the name of these cute little creatures but when we looked into their enclosure we couldn't see any of them and upon closer inspection found them all sleeping inside this log, they were crammed in like sardines, one way to keep warm and snuggly I suppose. Dont they look funny?!

Tiger Tiger......

I think out of all the animals pics my favourite is this tiger, there is so much danger and powerfulness about him. He has a mate in the enclosure with him so perhaps she keeps him in check :)

Take the Train

This is the cute little train that you can take around the zoo if you want a tour. All the kiddies wave and smile as they go past, they absolutely love it.

Foxy!

A gorgeous little fox. This pic had to be taken through glass unfortunately so it didn't come out as well as I'd hoped but still not too bad.

He/she looks a sleepyhead doesn't he? Soooooooo cute or what?

Meercats 2

More meercats! Adorable little animals. This one was playing with her young baby which was no bigger than a baby kitten but scampering around like a whirlwind.

They never fail to bring a smile just watching them play do they?

Seal

This is a pic that I took on a visit to the zoo, lots of great animals there. I will be posting a few pics of them. I'm not quite sure how I feel about the whole issue of animals in enclosures and cages, how do you feel about this?

Windmill.

This was a windmill that we saw on our travels around the East of England, there are quite a few of these especially around the Great Yarmouth area, I really like them. I'm not sure if this is a fully working one or wether it has been converted to a residence. It was a very windy day when I took the pic and the sails were not moving, so perhaps it's not a working one.

Beach Huts!

This week hubby and myself have been to the coast as we are both on holiday from work, there are some really lovely beach huts all along the edge of the sand. Most of them look very well looked after but there are one or two that have seen better days, I think these are for buying or hiring.

Some friends of mine had one of these when I was a child and I can remember getting changed into swimming costumes and having something to eat in the beach hut, they are really cosy. It's great to sit on the steps and watch the world go by.

Hubby and me sat on the steps of one and pretended that we owned it. It was very quiet on the beach, the dog just loved it.

Do you love being on the beach?

Ginger !

Here is my mums 3 legged ginger tomcat. He lost his leg in a road accident. When it happened the vet said that his leg was too badly damaged to be able to save it. Je gets about really well now and the other front leg is extremely powerful and strong so you know about it if he swipes you one. Also another favourite pastime of his is catching rabbits, he eats every last bit of them. Yuk!!!!

Village Church.

This is our village church, it has a congregation on Sundays with a varying amount of parishioners, anything from 4 up to 50 plus. I must admit that I do not go there at all.

It is situated about 200 yards from my house so I can see it from my front room, also there is bell ringing practice every Monday evening so it's nice to listen to on a summers evening.

Wet n windy

I took this photo when we went for a drive along the coastal road, the weather was not good and it was really windy.

We could see the spray from the waves crashing on the shore from the road so we pulled in. Sorry that the pic isn't too clear as I only have a small digital camera at present so I have to make the best of things. I think that you can still get the gist of it though.

Miss P

Only another photo of my dog, she looked so cute I had to take this one. Have just picked up oldest son from his voluntary job at the Cats Protection shelter. He has ASD or Autistic Spectrum Disorder, he's worked there for over a year now and he really enjoys it. They have approx 40 cats awaiting new owners.

Weather today is absolutely abysmal wet and windy so no gardening being done at all. Gary has been busy cooking quiche which doesn't last long in this house, and we are going to go round to my sisters for dinner and to see friends also, so we should have a good evening.

Tig again.

It's like Groundhog day all over again! Tom's back in hospital, but with all going well he is due to have the op tomorrow morning or afternoon. Looking forward to the Bank Holiday week end, Gary and myself will probably be out and about, we'll have to see whats on where.

Miss Tig

Here is a photo of my cat ( or I should say Tom's cat because he looks after her) her name is Tigger. I think she has a lovely time living here because she can catch mice or rats in the churchyard and generally roam far and wide. As a rule though she always comes running when Tom whistles for her. He's quite overprotective of her especially when other cats are around, like at night he will go and shoo others away from her, I say leave her be she wants to play.

Make a wish !

I just had to take a pic of all these dandelion seed heads. Tom and I were out walking the dog when we saw them, when I was a child the other kids and I used to say "make a wish and blow " then all the seed heads would scatter.

Tom is now much better but couldn't get in the pool last night as he didn't want to get chlorine in his ear. He really missed swimming. We always go to a private pool every Monday night between 7 and 8, we have it all to ourselves as there's normally four of us who go.

The weather here has turned a bit chilly of late, but hopefully it's due to get warmer by the week end, shall be able to get in the garden and finish tidying up, my tiny front garden is overtaking the window view at the moment, it needs cutting back drastically.

Get Well!

This is where Tom is residing at the moment, still in hospital and getting no better despite heavy doses of intravenous antibiotic and penicillin,(quite worrying)still he's in good spirits but bored out of his mind.We hope that maybe he will have his op tomorrow sometime but we'll have to wait and see.

On the Buses

Today has been quite stressful so far as youngest son has to negotiate the bus system. We were given the wrong info on times of buses and things went pear shaped. He managed to get on the right bus at the wrong time eventually, hopefully things will improve as the day goes on.I've heard that cock-ups come in threes so can only cross my fingers and hope.

This picture is a field of rapeseed,it's such a beautiful shade of vivid yellow especially in the lovely sunshine that we've been having,I like the contrast of the yellow with the blue sky don't you?

"Hello"

These are the lambs that live down the lane from me.I pass them when I walk Poppy in the morning. They always bleat "hello" to us.

Todays wish!

That maps were easier to read.

How do you like this pic of my most favourite dog in the world, her name is Poppy and she is a rescue dog, after being abandoned as a puppy(there are some heartless people in the world). ?

Hi!!!

Hi, this is so weird to be writing my thoughts down,as I'm not one for diary writing or keeping any sort of journal.I cant think that anyone would want to comment on my daily scripts, but well stranger things happen don't they.Have just woken up today to a gloriously warm sunny day, birds singing in my garden and the sheep bleating in their field down the road.

My wish for today !
That everyday would be as warm sunny and peaceful for everyone everywhere!
